Time Capsule

As part of the Golden Jubilee of St Pius X Church, one of the  events was the commissioning of a Time Capsule.Parishioners were invited to place letters, photos, receipts etc into the capsule. The “Time Capsule” was formally sealed on Sunday 15th Feb 2011 after the 12.30pm Mass. Mr Joe Fortune (one of our senior citizens) and Jane Doyle Geary (Chairperson of the Parish Pastoral Council) cut the ribbon (see photo by Mary Renehan below). The Time Capsule will be re-opened in 25 years time.
