Community spirit is very much alive and living in St Pius X Parish. The task of running the events for the coming Jubilee celebrations has been made so much easier by the hard work of all the jubilee Committee members.

We have a varied mix of events to suit all age groups throughout the year:

*The Christmas Carol Service 19th December 2010 Always a nice introduction to the festive season.

*The Time Capsule 13th February 2011
An opportunity to write down your thoughts of the present, hopes and predictions for the future, Put them in the capsule to be opened 25 years on. The Time Capsule will be placed in the Sacred Heart Chapel (The future is in God's Hands). See photos of the day..

A youth talent contest was run by the youth group. Primary School Student Competition was on Saturday 19th March at 6 PM in Terenure College Concert Hall. Post Primary Student Competition was on Sunday 20th March at 6.30 PM in Terenure College Concert Hall. List of winners is on the newsletter section of the website.

Bach St John's Passion

It was a wonderful and moving experience. Thank you so much to everyone who was involved in makingthis such a wonderful experience. A special word of thanks to the conducter, Killian Farrell, one of the youth of our parish.

This was a huge success. Thank you to all involved.

*Corpus Christi Procession 26th June 2011 A popular event revived from the past.  See recording.

*Schools Choir Concert 23rd October 2011 at 7PM.  A taste of the choirs from our local school choirs.

*Dinner dance 12th November 2011: We regret that due to insufficient numbers, this event has had to be cancelled. Those who purchased tickets will be refunded in full.

*Closing Mass 27th November 2011 at 12.30 PM Bishop Eamonn Walsh.
