Do This in Memory of Me Programme
As part of the parish formation programme for First Holy Communion, it was decided to initiate the DO THIS IN MEMORY series of masses for children in second class and their parents.
These masses ensure that the parish, along with both the home and school play its part in the children's preparation in the months leading up to that important day, all within the context of the Sunday parish celebration. These masses have a large input from the parents, all of whom give of their time freely, to meet and arrange the next months mass.
There is an organizing committee from the parents of the Communion Classes who oversee the planning and implementation of the programme and who liaise with the Class teachers.
